Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Vyne (“Vyne,” “we,” “us”), a Halfstack product and the operator of the digital business card service at vyne.cards (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. If you’re using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to bind that organization.

Vyne lets you create a hosted digital business card, share it by link, QR code, or wallet pass, collect contacts, and export them. We offer two plans:

• Individual (free). One card, sharing, contact capture, unlimited stored contacts with free CSV/vCard export, your own colors and logo, and analytics.
• Vyne Pro ($4.99 per user / month, billed per seat). Everything in the free plan, plus multiple cards, team templates, team invites, and removal of Vyne branding.

Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. We may update, improve, or modify the Service over time; we’ll avoid materially reducing core functionality during a paid term.

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• You’re responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Notify us promptly at info@tryhalfstack.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Send spam or unsolicited messages, or publish unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content;
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from the Service, or access it without authorization;
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service, or upload malware or otherwise disrupt its integrity or performance.

You retain all rights to the content you submit — your card details, images, and links (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service. Because a card is meant to be shared, a published card is public: anyone with its link or QR code can view what you put on it. Don’t publish anything you’re not willing to make public, and don’t publish content you don’t have the right to share. You’re responsible for the content on your card.

We own the Service, our software, and our trademarks. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active.

The Service lets visitors submit their details through your card’s contact-exchange form, and lets you store and export those contacts. Those people’s data is yours to steward, and you’re the controller of it. You are responsible for:

• Having a lawful basis to collect, store, and export the contacts you gather;
• Honoring their requests to access or delete their information;
• Using the contacts lawfully — not for spam, and not in ways they wouldn’t expect.

We store and process these contacts on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how this works.

The Individual plan is free — and the core promise (keep and export every contact you collect) stays free, with no cap on stored contacts and no charge to export them.

Vyne Pro is billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, per seat at the price shown on our pricing page.

• Renewals. Pro renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. We don’t give partial-month refunds for the time already paid.
• 7-day money-back. If you’re not satisfied, email us at info@tryhalfstack.com within 7 days of your first Vyne Pro charge and we’ll refund that first payment in full.
• Taxes. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you’re responsible for where applicable.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, or where we need to in order to comply with the law. On termination your right to use the Service ends. You can export your contacts at any time before you delete your account; after deletion we remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vyne will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Vyne submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

We may update these Terms. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll also give notice by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Blinq is a trademark of its respective owner. Vyne is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blinq. Any comparisons are for informational purposes and reflect publicly available information believed accurate as of the date stated.
